Eric and I had never met face
to face until the middle of August when he drove his '63 Lemans up
from Langley to Kamloops to display along side of my '63 Lemans in
the 10th annual Hot Nite in the City show and shine. We also participated
in the poker run that weekend. The two of us had made this deal that
if he comes up to Kamloops with his car, then I would bring mine to
Langley to display together again in the 8th annual Good Times Cruise-in.
We both had an absolute blast at both events and it was great to compare
these two cars. We attracted lots of attention when we were driving
them around in tandem. It was actually this website, 1963pontiac.com. that we became aware of each other and started emailing each other. |

Owner's Comments My Pontiac is an American car. The Tempest/Lemans of that year apparently was not available in Canada. Mine originated from Montana, bought by the shop foreman of the Pontiac dealership in Lethbridge, Alberta. In 1976 it fell into my hands. |
