Owner's Comments

My 1963 Grand Prix was aquired at a farm equipment consignment sale of all places. Primer always scares me a bit but I have discovered this to be a virtually rust free California car so I am thinking this may be a keeper.

It was originally Nocturne Blue with a Silvermist top and I probably will go back with that color combo. The car is a plain jane model with no air or power accessories. It is equiped with a 389 4V and "Slim Jim" Hydro. The only option I can see are the 8 lug wheels.

Since getting the car I have removed a trailer hitch and the huge spring shocks that went with it and detailed the wheels. We also replaced the front seal in the transmission.

Have driven it quite a bit since and will give it its first road trip this weekend. Plans call for a very mild mid 60's custom treatment and drive and enjoy.
